What is Bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT)?

 Ans:- Transistor are three terminal devices.    Of three semiconductor layers.transistor consists of two p-n junction formed by sandwiching either  .  p-type or  n-type semiconductor between a pair of opposite   types.One p-n junction of a transistor is reverse biased ,whereas the other is forward biased.

There are two types of transistor.                                                                      i) p-n-p       

                                              ii) n-p-n




BJT is a current control device.
