What is Transistors ?

 Ans : Transistor is a three layer semiconductor device consisting of either two n- and one p type layers of material.  The former is called and n-p-n transistor, and the two p- type and one n type layers of material is called p-n-p transistor.



Types of transistors 

                                 i) Bipolar Junction                                                  Transistor   (BJT)

                               ii) Unipolar Junction                                                  Transistor   (UJT)
